Perfume Bottle
Crystal perfume bottles have a long history, evolving from functional containers to decorative art objects. During the 18th and 19th centuries, elaborate cut-glass bottles were prized for their beauty and craftsmanship, often made by renowned glass houses. These bottles were not only used for storing precious perfumes but also served as elegant vanity accessories.
In the mid-20th century, the popularity of decorative glass items continued, with many manufacturers producing faceted crystal perfume bottles. These often featured geometric designs, mimicking gemstones, and were popular as both functional items and decorative pieces for the home. The use of a dauber stopper became common, allowing for precise application of the fragrance.
